Now available, our own US made, exact copy of the 22x1.5mm Romanian AK74 compensator. We begin with 4140 steel and machine on a Mazak CNC turning center. All secondary machining processes are then done on a separate CNC center. They are then taken and heat-treated to factory specs by a DOD contractor, no expense spared here. Finally, they are hard chromed to improve stability and wear over time due to the exhaust pulse delivered through the unit each shot and for corrosion protection. Quite a bit of work and expense for such a seemingly simple part, but the ONLY WAY to get a perfect, high quality piece."

The ultimate AK-102,4,5 compensator. Designed to provide legal overall barrel length and yet retain all the features of the original. ATF approved! This part was completely redesigned to provide all the features of the original, including hard chrome lining on the inside, Russian design and geometry including crimped restrictor plate, and wire cutter. Material is 4130, heat-treated to factory specifications. Threads are 24x1.5mm. Part is 4-3/4" length. Compensator has offset indexing notch to match original Russian/Bulgarian sight assembly. Compensator can also be used with Hungarian AMD-65 projects and others with thread adapters. |
